Biography

Mr. Tan is currently Vice President, Airline Development, Changi Airport Group (CAG).

Mr. Tan has 18 years of aviation industry experience, starting his aviation career with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) in 2000. During his 9 years in CAAS, Mr. Tan held various positions, ranging from air services negotiations and development, air cargo operations, to airline route development.

When the CAAS was corporatized in 2009, Mr. Tan moved to the newly formed CAG where he continued in his role in airline route development. In 2012, Mr. Tan’s role expanded to include overseeing Slots Coordination for Singapore Changi Airport.

Mr. Tan holds a Honours Degree in Accountancy from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, where he graduated in 1996. Prior to joining CAAS, Mr. Tan worked for 4 years in the audit and assurance field in a major multinational accountancy firm.
