Mei Mei Song oversees the brand development and the customer experience. She spearheaded the repositioning of Plaza Premium Lounge, bringing the business-to-business airport lounge brand and its benefits to the periphery of travelers. Subsequently, she led Plaza Premium Group’s branding team in launching Aerotel, the world’s largest chain of airport transit hotels, which today is a key pillar of the group’s businesses, and she further launched new lounge concept, Plaza Premium First. She is also instrumental in developing the dining brands in the Airport Dining portfolio including but not limited to Chinese fine-dining The Terrace, herbs-and-seeds-inspired Root98, TGM and Flight Club in addition to VIP meet-and-greet services Allways. In 2018, she played a key role in launching Plaza Premium Lounge’s current global brand campaign “Your Airport Moment,” enhancing the brand’s image and positioning in the group’s key strategic locations.
Having rotated in different roles – operations, customer service, sales and marketing, design and finance, she continues to grow the group globally by reiterating the group’s purpose to “make travel better,” by creating and innovating airport hospitality solutions. Mei Mei is a member of the group’s Steering Committee that drives the commercial and development strategy of Plaza Premium Group.
