Ms. Naomi Njeri Gitau is the Manager, Environment at Kenya Airports Authority, based in Nairobi Kenya. She holds a Master’s of Science in Urban Environmental Management from Wageningen University & Institute of Housing Studies, The Netherlands and Environmental Studies from Kenya Polytechnic University College.
She is a sustainable aviation professional with qualifications, knowledge and over 7 years’ experience in Environment and aviation as well as Climate Change. She has been trained on Sustainable Aviation by Manchester Metropolitan University, Environment and Aviation by International Air Transport Association, Geneva. Naomi has vast practical experience in carrying out strategic environmental Impact Assessments/Audits, noise and air quality monitoring in Kenyan airports for the realization of sustainable development in the Kenyan aviation sector.
Naomi is a committee member of ACI-World Environment Standing Committee (WENSC) representing Africa region.
