Georgia Stergiopoulou is the Director, Human Resources of Athens International Airport in charge of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, compensation, labour relations, and health and safety. Georgia joined Athens International Airport in 2010 bringing with her extensive years of experience working in human resources leadership positions in banking multinationals. She has strong skills in negotiations, career development, consulting, executive search, change management, business transformation, compensation planning and labour relations.
She is the Chair of the Leadership and Human Resources Forum of ACI Europe, member of the Employment Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and member of the Task force on Labour issues of the Hellenic Industrial Federation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from the City University of New York, Queens College and a Master’s degree in Management and Organizational Behaviour from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, U.S.A.
